It will delete all your Pixel phone’s data, including your Google account, photos, videos, downloaded apps, system & app settings, etc. Back up your data before factory resetting your Google Pixel device.

Step 1: Go to Settings.

How to Wipe Cache or Factory Reset Pixel using Recovery Mode

You must enter your Google Pixel device into recovery mode using the power and volume buttons. We already discussed how to wipe cache or factory reset your Google Pixel using recovery mode.

How to Wipe Cache Partition on Google Pixel and Pixel XL (Android 8.1 and 7.1.2)

Step 1: Turn off your Google Pixel XL phone.

Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrates.

You can view the Android system recovery screen on your Google Pixel XL. By default Start button show on your devices.

Step 3: Press the volume down button until you view the Recovery mode.

Step 4: Press the power button to restart into recovery mode.

You can see the above screen of the Android robot exclamation mark with a red triangle icon on the Pixel XL phone.

Step 5: Press the volume down buttons until you select the Wipe cache partition, and press the power button to select it.

Step 6: To confirm, press the Volume down buttons to scroll to Yes and press the power button to select it.

Clearing the cache may take 3-5 minutes.

Step 7: Press the volume down buttons to scroll to the Reboot system now, and press the power button to select it.
