Show or hide caller ID Moto G4 plus running Android 7.0 Nougat. When you hide your phone number for outgoing calls on your device, the person you calling won’t able to see your phone number and name on screen. In Moto G4 plus device, default operator settings use to display my number in outgoing calls. Android marshmallow device, you can view three options for set into show my caller ID settings including network default or hide number or show number.
Different android device is slightly different settings to hide caller ID. But remember if send messages / MMS to any person, simple show your name and number in message. You can see other call settings such as call forwarding, call waiting, call barring, call waiting etc. Some of the network carriers & countries by default set caller ID, you can not change it. Follow below given complete guide in your Moto G4 plus and other android device to hide my number while calling.
Step 1: Tap “Phone app” form home screen on Moto G4 plus
Step 2: Touch “Three vertical dots” from top of the right side corner
Step 3: Touch “Settings”
You can see various options list.
Step 4: Tap on “Calling account”
Step 5: Under settings section, tap on your carrier (SIM 1 / SIM 2) want to display / hide number for outgoing calls
Step 6: Tap on “Additional settings”
Step 7: Touch on “Caller ID”
In my Moto G4 plus device, by default set network operator settings. If you can open “Caller ID” in your device, choose from show number / hide number.
Step 8: Choose “Hide number” to hide caller ID Moto G4 plus device.
Hide my number while outgoing calls on Galaxy J7 & J5, android marshmallow 6.0 & lollipop 5.1.1:
Phone app > More > Settings > Call settings > More settings > Select SIM 1 / SIM 2 > Show my Caller ID > Show number / Hide number
