How to hard reset OnePlus 7 Pro

Step 1: Switch off your OnePlus 7 Pro to the long press power button and tap the Power.

Step 2: Press and hold the volume up and power button at the same time until seeing the OnePlus logo on the screen.

Step 3: You will see Recovery mode on your device.

Step 4: Tap on Advanced.

You can see Reset system settings, Wipe cache, and Erase everything options.

Step 5: Tap Erase everything (Music, Picture, etc).

Wait until the complete reboot process. Now all your phone settings set as factory default settings.

Factory Reset OnePlus 7 Pro using phone settings

Make sure to back up all important data from your device before resetting the OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7. It will delete all your phone data including internal storage and downloaded apps from your device.

Step 1: Open the Settings app in the app drawer.

Step 1: Make sure to switch off your phone.

Step 2: Press & hold the power and volume down key at the same time until seeing the OnePlus logo, keep holding it.

Step 3: Tap Forgot password at the bottom right of the screen.

This message appears: You will lose everything (Music, pics, etc)

Step 4: Tap OK.

Step 5: Tap OK.

Now, wiping all your phone data. Wait until restart your phone and set a new screen lock.

You can choose OnePlus 7 Pro screen resolution from the Auto switch or QHD+ or FHD+ in your device. QHD+ resolution use more battery compare to FHD+. Set Auto switch as default resolution to save battery life.

Change screen refresh rate OnePlus 7 Pro

By default set a 90Hz screen refresh rate in your device. Also, change the refresh rate as 60 Hz if you want to improve the battery. The higher the screen refresh rate, the smoother the screen experience, but it will consume more battery. So set 60Hz as OnePlus 7 Pro screen refresh rate.

Change screen time-out time OnePlus 7 Pro
