How to Hard Reset Google Pixel and Pixel XL
Below you can see a complete guide to Google Pixel and Pixel XL hard reset or factory reset using power and volume button. Make sure to back up your important data before performing below given methods.
Step 1: Turn off your Google Pixel and Pixel XL.
Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrates.
You can view the Android system recovery screen on your Google Pixel. By default start button show on Google Pixel.
Step 3: Press the volume down button until view the Recovery mode.
Step 4: Press the power button to restart into recovery mode.

Step 5: Press & hold the power button and press volume up button one time only and then release the volume up button only.
You can see the Google Pixel recovery mode screen that including reboot system now, reboot to bootloader, Apply update from ADB, Wipe data/factory reset, and other handy settings.
Step 6: Press the volume down button until Wipe data/factory reset.

Step 7: Press the Power button to continue the process.
Step 8: To confirm, press volume down buttons to scroll to Yes and press the power button to select it.
Clearing the cache may take 3-5 minutes.
Step 9: Press the volume down buttons to scroll to reboot system now, press the power button to select it.

Settings > Personal > backup & reset > Factory data reset > Reset phone > unlock your device > Erase everything
Alteranative Way: Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Erase all data > Erase all data > Confirm lock screen > Erase all data
