How to Update Status on WhatsApp Android
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your device.
Step 2: Tap on the Status tab.
Step 3: Tap on the My status icon.
Step 4: Select photos from the gallery or hold for video.
You can add text to the photo, add emoji icons, and set the picture’s color on your phone.
Step 5: After editing the photo, tap on the Send button.
Now your WhatsApp status is created.
Step 6: Tap Open my status at the top of the screen to show a WhatsApp status update on your Android phone.

Step 2: Tap on the Pencil icon at the bottom right corner.

How to Delete WhatsApp Status Update on Android Phone or Tablet
Step 1: Open WhatsApp.
Step 2: Tap on the Status screen.
Step 3: Tap on Three horizontal dots in my status.
Step 4: Tap & hold your Status icon.
Step 5: Tap on the Trash icon.
You can see this message: Delete this status update? It will also be deleted for everyone who received it.
Step 6: Tap on Delete.
This deleted WhatsApp status will delete from every contact who received it.

Step 1: Open the WhatsApp app.
Step 2: Tap on Three vertical dots at the top right corner.
Step 3: Tap on Settings.
Step 4: Tap on Account.
Step 5: Tap on Privacy.
Step 6: Tap on Status.
Below given three options are available here.
My contacts: All your phone contacts can see your WhatsApp status update.
My contacts except: Select the contacts from the list you want to hide your WhatsApp status updates.
Only share with: Select the contacts you want to share your WhatsApp status.
Step 7: Choose from the above-given option and tap on Done.

Step 1: Open the WhatsApp app and tap on the Status tab.
You can see the recent status updates list.
Step 2: Touch & hold the status update from the list.

How to Unmute Status on WhatsApp Android
Step 1: Go to the Status screen.
Step 2: Scroll down at the end and tap on Muted updates.
Step 3: Touch & hold the contact you want to unmute.
Step 4: Tap on Unmute.
