You can enable and use face unlock in Huawei P20 Pro using security & privacy settings.
Step 1: Swipe down notification panel and tap settings gear icon
Step 2: Tap Security & privacy
Here you can see several security features such as find my device, Fingerprint ID, Face unlock, screen lock & password, PrivateSpace, App lock for hide or lock apps, SIM lock and more Huawei P20 Pro security & privacy settings.
Step 3: Tap Face unlock
Step 4: Enter lock screen password if already set
Step 5: Tap Continue
Step 6: Tap Allow
Step 7: keep your face in the circle on your device screen and wait for the complete process

Delete face data
