Solution 1: Force Restart your Samsung Phone

Long-press the power and volume down buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds until the Samsung logo appears. Wait until start your Samsung device.

Solution 2: Check the Software Update

Ensure your Samsung phone is running the latest software update.

Step 1: Go to Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap Software update.

Step 3: Tap Download and Install.

Solution 3: Check your Phone Storage is full

Make sure your Samsung storage is not full. If storage is full, remove temporary junk files and delete unnecessary apps from your device to free up space. To check storage, go to Settings > Battery & device care > Storage.

Solution 4: Turn On Safe Mode to Fix Samsung Galaxy S8 Freezing and Crashing

Step 1: Press & hold the power button until you view the power menu on your Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus phone.

Step 2: Long-press the power off button until you see this message: Reboot to safe mode.

Step 3: Tap OK.

Now check whether your Galaxy S8 is crashing or freezing. After enabling safe mode on Galaxy S8 & S8 Plus, you can see only system default apps, and it will temporarily disable all downloaded apps. Solution 5: Wipe Cache Partition

Step 1: Power off your Samsung phone.

Step 2: Long-press the Volume up key and Bixby button, then press & hold the Power button.

Step 5: Press the Power button to apply.

By default, select the No option.

Step 6: Press the Volume down key button to highlight Yes.

Step 7: Press the Power button to apply.

Step 8: The Wipe cache data message is in the bottom left corner. Wait until complete the process.

Step 9: Press the Power button to restart your Samsung phone.

If you’re still facing the Galaxy S8 freezing and crashing, factory reset your Samsung phone. It will delete all your Samsung phone data, make sure to back up your data before resetting it.

Solution 6: Factory Reset Samsung Phone

It will delete all your personal information from your Samsung device. Before the factory reset your device, back up your Galaxy data.
