If you have already installed Android Q Beta 2 via OTA, you’ll get OTA update (280.6 MB) in your Pixel devices to get Android Q beta 3 features list.

Recently my Google Pixel first generation got new Android Q Beta 3 update. This new Android Q developer preview added below given new features.

Dark theme

Before released this Android Beta, by default set system wide dark mode in all Pixel devices. Now you can manually set light or dark theme in Android Q Beta 3 using display settings or quick settings tiles.

Swipe down notification panel from top of the screen > Tap Pencil icon > Hold and drag the Dark theme and move it to first tiles > Tap Dark theme

New Gesture navigation for Android 10 Q Beta

You can see three options for Android Q gesture navigation settings. Choose Android 10 gesture navigation control system from fully screen gesture / 2 navigation button / 3 navigation button in your Pixel devices. You can change gesture navigation in android Q 10 using system settings.

It will useful to automatically caption media playing on your phone such as videos, podcasts, audio messages and more without network connection in your android phone or tablet. This new feature available later this year to your Pixel and other supported devices.

5G Networks

Annoying by slower speed and lower latency? Android Q support  for 5G and extend APIs to useful to access your apps for 5G. To check connection is metered and high bandwidth connection, you can use connectivity APIs. Several android devices launching 5G this year, nd more than 20 carriers will launch 5G network around the world.

Google expanding Digital Wellbeing to added new focus mode and family link features. Distract by any app or email notifications on your android Q 10? Using this android Q Beta 3 new focus mode, you can silence the apps that annoying you in your Pixel device. Enable focus mode in android Q 10 using quick settings tiles in your phone.

Family link feature is useful to parents to set app time limits for specific apps. Also add new 5 more minutes under the parent’s device to use more device to a child. This feature is coming to Android 9 Pie and Android Q supported devices.
