1st Method: Clear the cache of Google Play store
Step 1: Go to “Settings”
Step 2: Under device section, touch “Apps”
You can view list of installed apps on your android device.
Step 3: Scroll down until find Google Play store and tap on it
Step 4: Touch “Storage”
Step 5: Tap “Clear cache”
If clear cache not fix Google Play Store error 498 then try to clear cache of Google play services.
Clear cache of Google Play Services in android:
Settings > Device > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage > clear cache & clear data
2nd Method: Uninstall Google play store update
