Factory Reset Pixel 2 and 2 XL if phone powered on

It will remove all your phone data. So, before performing this, make sure back up & restore your important data.

Step 1: Go to settings in your Google Pixel 2.

Step 2: Tap system.

Step 3: Tap Reset.

Step 4: Tap Factory data reset

Step 5: Tap Reset phone.

Step 6: Tap Erase everything.

2nd Method: Clear cache partition on Pixel 2 to fix Google Pixel 2 randomly turns off

It will delete all your phone storage data such as personal information, Google & other accounts, music, photos, downloaded apps and other data from your Pixel 2 device. Make sure backed up your data to another phone or PC.

Step 1: Turn off your Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrates.

You can view the Android system recovery screen on your Oreo screen. By default start button show on your device.

Step 3: Press the volume down button until view recovery mode.

Step 4: Press the power button to restart into recovery mode.
