Step 1: Swipe down notification panel and tap Settings gear icon
Step 2: Tap Alert slider under customization
You can see below given three Alert slider settings in your OnePlus 6 Oreo 8.1.
Silent:
Calls and notifications will be silenced with no vibration, except for alarms. In silent mode, you can see Alarm and media settings. Alarms will always ring even your phone is silent. And also mute media volume if you want. This mute media volume feature helpful while watching movie on phone or YouTube videos in your device.
Vibration:
Call and notifications will be silenced, except for alarms. In OnePlus 6 vibration, you can see only ring option. And always ring alarm even your device is vibrate.
Ring:
Allow sound and vibration in your OnePlus 6 Oreo 8.1. By default enable vibrate for calls in ring setting. If you don’t want to vibrate phone while phone calls, disable it in your OnePlus 6 device.
