How to Unlock Google Pixel If Forgot Password

Hard reset/Factory reset Google Pixel & Pixel XL
Step 1: Turn off your Google Pixel and Pixel XL phone.
Step 2: Press & hold the volume down button and the power button at the same time until the phone vibrates.
You can view the Android system recovery screen on Google Pixel. By default start button show on Google Pixel & Pixel XL.
Step 3: Press the volume down button until view recovery mode.
Step 4: Press the power button to restart into recovery mode.
You can see the above screen of the android robot exclamation mark with a red triangle on your pixel phone.
Step 5: Press & hold the power button and volume up buttons one time, when you see the recovery mode screen, press the volume down button until highlight wipe cache partition, press the power button to select it.
This message show on your Google pixel & pixel XL screen: Wipe all user data?
Step 6: To confirm, press volume down buttons to scroll to Yes and press the power button to select it.
Clearing the cache may take 3-5 minutes.
Step 7: Press the volume down buttons to scroll to reboot system now, press the power button to select it.
Now all your pixel phone data deleted including Google account, photos, videos, third-party apps, etc.
Unlock Google Pixel XL if forgot password using Android device manager
You can erase all data, lock the screen and change the screen lock using the android device manager in your Pixel and Pixel XL device. If you enable location on Google Pixel, use it if forgot pattern lock on Google Pixel & Pixel XL. You can show android device manager settings in your Google Pixel XL device using the below steps.
Settings > Personal > Security > Device administrations > Device administrators > Android device manager > Activate this device administrator
Step 1: Go to the Android device manager on your desktop PC or laptop.
Step 2: log in with your Gmail account.
You can show your android devices list on the desktop or laptop.
Step 3: Tap on “Enable lock & erase” to reset pattern lock.
Below given three options show up on your desktop PC.
Lock: Lock device and display message or phone number
Play sound: Your device will ring for 5 minutes, even if set to silent
Erase: Erase all content from the device. You will no longer be able to locate it
Step 4: Tap on “Lock”.
Step 5: Enter the password & again enter to confirm it.
Also, add recovery message and phone number so anyone find your Google Pixel and other devices, they will reach by you using phone number. It looks like the below screen.
