How to Turn On or Turn Off Predictive Text on Android Marshmallow 6.0
You can see the above screenshot when you type any message or chat with friends before predictive text off on your android devices. Now follow below-given steps to turn off predictive text on android 6.0 marshmallow.
Step 1: Go to “Settings”.
Step 2: Tap on “Language and input” under the system section.
Step 3: Tap on “Samsung keyboard” in keyboards and input methods section.
Step 4: Tap on “Predictive text”. You can see the above image on your screen. By default, on your android device, predictive text is on so you can easily find any words you search.
Step 5: Toggle off to remove prediction text from your android devices. After turn off the Predictive text button, you can see the above image on your screen.
Open any chat messaging apps or messages, now you can see the above image on your screen. You will see not predictive text available when you are typing any words with your friends or others.
For Android Nougat 7.1.2 & 7.0
Step 1: Open Apps from the home screen on your Android 7.0 Nougat (Moto G4 Plus).
Step 2: Go to Settings.
Step 3: Under the personal section, tap on Languages & input.
Step 4: Tap on Virtual keyboard under keyboard and input methods.
Step 5: Tap on Gboard.
Step 6: Tap on Text correction.
Step 7: Turn off the toggle button of show suggestion.
How to Turn Off Predictive Text on Android 8.1 & 8.0 Oreo
Settings > System > Language & input > Virtual keyboard > Gboard > Search > Predictive search
Turn off Autocorrect in android Oreo 8.0 & 8.1
Settings > System > Language & input > virtual keyboard > Gboard >Text correction > Correction > Auto-correction
