This galaxy S9 & S9 plus intelligent scan feature use both face recognition and Iris scanner security. You can set up intelligent scan under lock screen and security settings. Intelligent scan improves accuracy and security by using both face unlock and Iris scanner security. But in different conditions intelligent scan stopped working, so first of all check below given points.
Check Important Points
- With or without prescription glasses
- Beards or clean shaven, masks, hats, different lighting conditions
- Image is not blurry
- Make sure camera lens is clean
- Hold the phone at eye level
After check all above points, check intelligent scan working or not in your Samsung galaxy S9 and S9 plus Oreo. If not working, remove face and iris data and again set up in your device.
Remove face and iris data on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus Oreo
Step 1: Swipe down notification panel and tap on Settings gear icon
Step 2: Tap on Lock screen and security
Step 3: Tap on Intelligent scan under Biometric section
Your face and Iris have been registered. Draw the pattern or PIN number if set.
Step 4: Tap on Remove face and Iris data
Now restart your galaxy S9 and galaxy S9 plus devices. And again set up Intelligent scan in Samsung galaxy S9 and galaxy S9 plus devices. After set up, enable Intelligent scan unlock on galaxy S9 & S9 plus to unlock your phone using combined face and Iris scanning.
