Want to stop apps from running in the background on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL? Here’s how to clear all recent apps on Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3. How to Close Apps on Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL
You can individually clear app one by one or clear all apps at once on your Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL and other devices. By default turned on navigation gestures on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, you can’t disable it on your device. But if you have android 9 Pie, you can disable Navigation gesture using gesture settings.
Clear all apps on Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3
Step 1: Swipe pill icon upper side once or tap Overview button.
Here you can see a list of recently opened apps on your Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Step 2: Swipe screen right side up to view Clear all (Show below-given screenshot).
Step 3: Tap clear all to close all apps in Google Pixel 3 or swipe the app to the upper side to individually close the app.
Now clear all apps on your Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Step 4: Swipe up Pill icon, you can see No recent items message on the screen.
If you’re android 9 Pie device has disabled Navigation gesture feature, you can clear all apps using below given settings.
Overview button > Swipe screen right side > Clear all apps
You can force stop apps also if you have facing app-related issues such as app unresponsive or app freezing and more.
Force stop apps on Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL Pie
Step 1: Go to settings in your Pixel 3.
Step 2: Tap apps & notifications.
Step 3: Tap See all apps.
A list of installed apps appears on the screen on your Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Step 4: Select the app you want to force stop or disable.
Step 5: Tap Force stop.
You can see this message on screen: If you force stop an app, it may misbehave.
Step 6: Tap OK.
Now restart your android device, and check solve app issue.
